Samson LoginNo, Samson is a web based system. All you need is a browser and an internet connection.
To create a samson account.
Head to www.samsonsystems.com then click on 'Create your account'.The next page will give you some information about Samson and the registration process. To continue, click on the 'Create your account' button.
Fill in all the fields and click on 'Create Account'. You will then be taken through a series of steps which will ask for basic information about your business, such as your registered business address, the trades you specialise in and geographical work areas covered.
If you are based in Ireland and are VAT registered Samson will ask for a copy of your VAT certificate. In Ireland this is referred to as your Tax Clearance number. If you do not have a copy, just enter you details onto a Word document and upload that instead.
After paying the registration fee (£215 +VAT if applicable) your registration is complete and all that remains is for you to select a supply chain and fill in their Pre-qualification questionnaire. To do this click on the 'Select a supply chain' button on your Samson today page. From there just click on the 'Apply to this supply chain' link next to the company that has asked you to use Samson.
Most of the questions in the Pre-qualification questionnaire start with a simple 'yes/no' selection. If you do not have what the question is asking, you select 'No' and go on to the next.
We've tried to make the process as simple as possible with on screen instructions to guide you through registration and completing the questionnaire.
Samson has an annual registration fee of £215 + VAT. Unlike other systems this is our only pre-qualification fee. There are no assessment charges and your registration lets you apply to any of the listed supply chain at no extra cost.
No, it’s all included in your registration fee. This is fixed at £215 + VAT. There are no hidden charges, such as increases according to number of trades, size of company, turnover etc. We also do not charge for PQQ information assessment.
In Eire the VAT (Value Added Tax) certificate is referred to as a Tax Clearance Certificate which is a certificate issued by your local tax office to confirm that the company pays all taxes within the registered country.
If you do not have a copy of this certificate just enter the details (just your Tax Clearance number will do fine) onto a Word document, save and upload that. This will help you to complete your registration.
Once you’ve registered with Samson you can then complete the pre-qualification questionnaire for the company who asked you to register. Just click on the ‘Select a supply chain’ button and click ‘apply’ next to the company’s name.

Samson is a supply chain management system, but it is not an assessment scheme that offers buyers/main contractors with pre-approved suppliers and so is not a registered member of SSIP. Buyers/main contractors who use Samson invite their suppliers on to the system. The system will present the supplier with the main contractor’s pre-qualification questionnaire which they complete and return to the main contractor for assessment.
By doing it this way a supplier or contractor is far more likely to get a return on their application fee because a main contractor will only invite suppliers they want to work with onto the system. Contractors only have to answer questions relevant to the main contractor which makes the questionnaire shorter so quicker to complete.
Although there is a fee, it is a fixed amount of £215 + VAT and there are no extra charges for pre-qualification. This means there are no additional charges pushing up the registration fee, for example we do not charge extra according to no. of employees, turnover or trades you wish to be linked to etc. There is also no assessment fee.
You are also free to apply to other supply chains on the system at no charge to yourselves and any questions already answered do not have to be done again.
Main contractors/FM services that use Samson will still require their suppliers to register and complete a pre-qualification questionnaire regardless of whether the supplier has previously been approved by a SSIP registered scheme. We suggest you only register with Samson if you have been asked to do so by your client as part of their supplier approval process.

At Samson we regard all our subscribers’ information as both confidential and unique and for this reason we ensure that full security measures are in place to protect you.
One of the areas that we take particularly seriously is your inputted bank details as they may be used by end users to process payments too.
To protect against any fraudulent action, once bank details are inputted and a PQQ application is made to a supply chain, these details are locked until the next information review date falling 12 months after initial submittal.
We are aware that there may be circumstances between review dates however, when a subscribers bank details may change and to allow information to be updated the following security protocol is in place to protect all parties:
- We will require a request to confirm full bank details from the subscriber on company headed paper that includes the official request to change, the Companies House registered company number, HQ contact telephone number, the new Bank Name and Address, Sort Code, Account Number, IBAN and BIC/Swift Refs. This letter then needs to be signed by a registered officer of the company as recorded at UK companies house in both capitals and signature, scanned and then returned to ourselves at our support address support@samsonsystems.com.
- Upon receipt of advice, we will check records at your country of registration Companies House, contact the registered officer named in the letter on the contact telephone number provided and both request verbal confirmation of the request to change the bank details and a random line from the authorised letter. We will also request their email address and confirm the action via email.
- We then seek confirmation from the registered user of the account that the request is genuine.
- You must also notify the accounts department of any supply chain to which you are a member of the change, as we will ask for them to provide a written confirmation that they have been made aware of the change and believe the request to be, as far as practicable, TRUE.
- At that point we will update the database and notify all parties of the changes.
All approved contractors receive a certificate for each successful application. This will be sent via e-mail together with a paper work badge to add to your stationary. We can also provide, free of charge, a ‘Samson approved contractor’ badge for your company’s vehicle.
