Mobilize

Supplier Pre-qualification Software

Pre-qualification tells you a supplier was compliant on the day they filled in the form. Mobilize keeps checking afterwards, so you know who is actually approved before you put them on a tender list. From £2,599 a year.

Pre-qualification is a snapshot, compliance is not

A PQQ captures a moment. The insurance was valid that week, the accreditation had not lapsed, the policies were current.

Six months later, one of those things has usually changed, and nobody has been told. The supplier stays on the approved list because removing them requires somebody to notice first. The list is accurate on the day it is built and slowly stops being true after that.

What the software does

Suppliers complete pre-qualification once, then the system keeps it current rather than waiting for the next annual review.

  • One question set, issued consistently instead of a different spreadsheet per project
  • Documents read on arrival, with expiry dates tracked automatically
  • Suppliers chased before something lapses, not after
  • Approval status visible at the point you are choosing a tender list

PQQ, CAS and SSIP in one place

Most contractors are running more than one standard at once. The Common Assessment Standard is now the preferred route for public sector work under PPN 03/24, but plenty of suppliers still hold SSIP, CHAS or Constructionline instead.

Mobilize runs them alongside each other, so a supplier who already holds a recognised accreditation is not made to answer the same questions again, and you can move your chain across to CAS without stopping work while they catch up.

Who it is for

Principal contractors and tier one businesses managing more suppliers than one person can hold in their head, and procurement teams who have been asked to prove supplier compliance and found the answer took days to assemble.

For managing the chain beyond vetting, from onboarding through to performance, see construction supply chain management software.

Capabilities

What Mobilize does

Stop taking suppliers on trust

New suppliers apply through your own form, giving you their company details, services and coverage up front. You accept or decline on what’s in front of you, not on who recommended them.

Ask what you need, not what a template says

Build your PQQ from the Common Assessment Standard and ask only what’s relevant. A supplier without ISO certification doesn’t wade through the ISO section. It refreshes every twelve months, so compliance stays current without you chasing it.

Stop tendering to the same five suppliers

Search your whole chain by service, location and PQQ answers to find who actually fits this job. Record enquiries and score the outcome, so next time you’re choosing on evidence rather than habit.

Catch the gap before they’re on site

Approved as a business is not the same as ready for this project. A short project-specific questionnaire confirms the named health and safety officer, method statements and insurances for this job, before mobilisation rather than after.

Stop re-appointing the supplier who let you down

Site teams score suppliers through a short emailed form, at intervals you set. Performance builds into a record you can use at the next tender instead of living in the site manager’s head.

Answer while they’re still on the phone

Find every approved supplier within a given radius of a site that meets your requirements. Check where a project stands without opening a spreadsheet.

Type supplier details once

A two-way API moves supplier and project data between Mobilize and your CRM, accounts or project systems, so the same details are not rekeyed three times.

Ask in plain English

Ask who your approved groundworkers are within thirty miles of Reading and get an answer, instead of building a filter. It will also answer questions about how the system works.

Answer the carbon question once a year

One scored self-assessment covering five years of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and your reduction target, banded A to D. It reaches every contractor you work for automatically, so you’re not rebuilding the same pack for each client.

Reducing Supply Chain Risk Through Smarter Pre-Qualification with Mobilize

As a growing principal contractor delivering complex construction and fit-out projects across London, our client needed a more efficient way to gather, manage and maintain accurate supplier information during the pre-qualification process. Increasing regulatory requirements, rising supply chain risk and manual administration were placing pressure on internal teams. By implementing our supply chain management system, they significantly reduced the time spent administering supply chain data, ensured legislative compliance with minimal effort, and gained confidence that supplier information remained accurate and up to date at all times.

Questions

Before you get in touch

Most clients are inviting suppliers within two weeks. The longest part is agreeing the question set internally.

Not on the standard plans. A supplier-pays option is available on the custom plan if you would rather the cost sat with the supply chain.

They skip the questions it already covers. The point is to stop asking suppliers for things they have proved elsewhere.

Yes. The PQQ is configurable, and most clients run a mix of the standard question set and their own additions.

Yes. Pre-qualification covers the business, and a pre-construction questionnaire covers the particular project and the people going on site.
